Turn current data into a present level statement and a measurable
annual goal for one goal area. The tool checks that the goal measures what the present
level actually measured, computes the growth the target requires, and copies out clean.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is stored and no student data leaves your device.
Why this is not a goal bank
I built this because a goal bank hands you a sentence and hopes it fits. I would
rather start from your data and keep the goal tied to it. You enter what the student
can do now and how you measured it, and the goal that comes out is anchored to that
measurement rather than borrowed from a list.
The checker is the point. It will tell you when a goal measures something the
present level never assessed, when a baseline and a target describe different
behaviors, or when a percentage has no denominator. A goal bank cannot do that,
because it never saw your baseline.
Add another area keeps the student label and grade and starts the goal setup over.
Use this setup for another student keeps the construct, measure, probe details, condition, criterion,
support levels, grade, comparison anchor, instructional weeks, monitoring and reporting, goal-setting method,
and season, tags each carried entry for you to verify, and clears the student label, baseline, targets, and dates.
Copy what you need first. Both clear the draft on screen.
